By Tamaika Joseph

2. One Sentence Description of the game- what is the basic concept?

  •  Concept for the game is to put a gambling themed spin on classic real world games, with a point system, along with attributes related to the game’s gambling theme, allowing for simple, yet engaging gameplay.

(What would you do for fortune, fame, power, notoriety? Would you become a kingpin, build a harem, fill your heart with the finest food content, or have people waiting on your every order? In this game compete among 4 players to win everything your heart desires). Possibly competing to be named the head of an organized crime unit?)

3. Paragraph describing the social aspect of the project- what is the reason for doing it? Is there a story behind it? If there is a story, summarize it. Who is it for? Will it help people? How will they experience the game?

  •  The social aspect of our project is based upon capitalism and gambling. In this game, players are civilians in a cutthroat competition and series of mini games each testing their character. Through trials and tribulations people's true nature are revealed.  Players compete against other players and try to win it all, money, fame, notoriety, whatever their heart desires. They must ask themselves, what are they willing to lose and how much? This game appeals to those who want to jump straight into the gameplay and do not want to worry about difficult instruction. This game can help people by spreading the awareness of gambling and its issues in society. Often in capitalistic societies success is often found at another’s expense this game hopes to capture that with players having real world repercussions with loss of assets and money.

  • The core game mechanics of our project would utilize a point system [POINT/RANKING SYSTEM] : First game grants 1pt… 2nd game grants 2 pts… etc. Players can choose their vice (whichever sin they want) This can gain them extra points in the end.

  • The goal of our game is to spread awareness about gambling.

  • The overall rule of our game is to track your points and follow the basic rules of each presenting game.

  • The rewards structure of the game is that the player with the most points will win all the money they amassed
